Richard joined Principal with Nevile Merriam, when it became part of the Principal Group in 2003. Prior to this he began his investment career at Leopold Joseph as a Trainee Investment Manager before working at Granville for eight years. He sits on both the Asset Allocation Committee and the Stock Selection team and is responsible for most of Principal's written output.
