A French/English graduate from Kings College, London, Ali started her career at the CBI as Assistant Manager to the Employee Relocation Council. Since leaving there in 1989 she has had various management roles including at Texaco and BAA, giving her extensive experience in recruitment, employee relations, training and general HR policy and practices. She joined Principal in 2004 as Group HR Manager, becoming Head of HR in 2008.
