In 1987, Chris graduated from the University of Leicester with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He moved from a firm of chartered accountants in 1988 to the Kent County Constabulary where he was involved in a number of IT-related planning projects. He joined Principal in 1994 and progressed through a series of promotions to become Deputy Head of Operations in 2002, Head of ICT in 2005 and ICT Director in early 2007. Chris is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.
