Principal Investment Management, the private client investment management specialist, which operates out of Bath, as well as having offices in Sevenoaks and London, entered a team in the Bath Half Marathon for the 4th year running.
All the 10 runners completed the race in 2 ½ hours and raised a total of £3,400 for the charity 'Help For Heroes'.
Kay Hylton, Business Development Manager at Principal, and one of the runners, said: “The Bath Half marathon is a fantastic local event, which creates a really good buzz amongst those people taking part and watching.
“A key reason for running this race was to raise money for the Help For Heroes organisation. Some of our staff have links with the army, witnessing the incredible bravery of our troops, and the unimaginable danger they face daily on our behalf, so they know more than most what it's like, and therefore the fantastic work that the Help For Heroes team do, to help support such people and their families.”
Kay continues: “I'm very proud of the Principal team. To raise £3,400 between us is a great achievement. This is our 4th time entering the Bath Half marathon, and we will continue to do so, as it raises so much awareness and money for both local and national charities.”
The runners came from the company's offices in Bath, Sevenoaks and London, with the money being raised by the individual runners themselves.
