Firstly, we are unusual in the strength and depth of our investment team. Our investment managers have an average of 18 years’ investment experience each, much of it gained managing large funds in the City.

We deliberately recruit most of our senior investment managers from an institutional (rather than private client) fund management background. Managers with this kind of background are used to working in a more disciplined, rigorous way.

But, just as important as the skills and experience of our managers, is their attitude. Our clients and advisers describe them as 'down to earth', 'approachable' – 'not flashy or slick'!
